  20. I think we should avoid making too much of a distinction between left and 
  21. right shift.  This could get confusing.  Using right-shift and arrows, 
  22. etc, could be useful for selecting text, but this is something entirely 
  23. different.

  28. I disagree... Ctrl-< is the same thing as ctrl-,  This gets icky.  I 
  29. think that ctrl-b for beginning and ctrl-e for end of block is ok.  
  30. ctrl-m for mark block (one where the other end of the block follows where 
  31. the cursor goes like ctrl-^ in PINE) is ok.  I could even handle the 
  32. ctrl-( and ) from the keypad, but that's a bit far to reach, so I prefer 
  33. B and E.

  38. Don't ever use any software that uses Shift-Backspace to delete a line.
